Caffeine and concentration

There’s a colleague of mine who swears that his morning coffee helps him to focus. I have to admit I’m sceptical, but as a tea drinker, I’m sceptical about a lot of the claims made about the wonders of coffee! The fact is, that there’s plenty of evidence to suggest that drinking lots of caffeine can actually have the opposite effect on your concentration levels, making you fidgety and anxious, easily distracted and sleepy.
